USB Stick PC
Wow..today’s technology really make what yesterday impossible now possible. Now we can actually have a tiny pc with us or to be precise a usb stick pc. This usb stick pc is the idea of a game developer, David Braben, as a tool of education for children to learn about computers while being cheap and reliable as it will be running linux os, most probably Ubuntu. The stick will be sold for $25 a piece. If only here in malaysia have something like this. I bet it can save a lot of money and all the school can afford to buy this kind of pc. I know for a fact computer is not cheap here. Even a second hand computer can cost you a few hundred ringgits.
This tiny pc will be distributed through a foundation called the Raspberry Pi Foundation and hopefully this device will be available within the next 12 months as stated by Braben.
